You can now join UNISON online!

You can now join UNISON online at the National website. You will not normally need to fill in any paper forms, and your subscriptions will be paid by direct debit. You will need to provide your bank details. It should not take longer than 10 minutes.

The current subscription rates (2011) range from £1.30 to £22.50 per month, depending on your salary. For example, if you earn between £14,001 and £17,000 per year, the subscription rate is £9.70 per month.

If you are an employee of E.ON, after you have submitted the online form, please contact the branch via the ‘Contact Us’ page so that we can follow up your application and ensure you are allocated to our branch to ensure you get the best level of support in the workplace.

Want to pay your subscription through payroll instead?

If you want to join UNISON and pay your subscriptions direct from your pay, we will need to have a completed printed form with your signature.

You should be able to get a form from your local rep or from your site’s UNISON notice board.

An important note about Legal Assistance

UNISON rules require a member to have 4 weeks paid membership in order to qualify for legal assistance. This means 4 weeks membership prior to a member knowing assistance would be needed on an issue. Legal assistance may include advice or representation.
